Launch Party Proclamation

Launch Party

We’re thrilled to finally announce our first two locations of distribution: Shaker’s Lounge and at the soon-to-be-open Red Dog Grill located at Heritage Harbor also in Ottawa, IL. Both locations will be tapping kegs of our coffee blonde ale, Breaking Blonde; our citrus-infused American Pale ale, Pale Peel; our hop-forward wheat with honey, Mash Confusion; and our flagship hop delivery vehicle, Time Traveler IPA.

In order to celebrate this momentous occasion, we’ll be holding two separate launch parties at both establishments.  All four founding members will be at Shaker’s Lounge on Friday June 12th and at Red Dog Grill on Saturday, June 13th to enjoy pints of Radium City Brewery ale in celebration of the first commercial brewery in LaSalle County since 1966!

We will have more details about each event in the weeks to come; there’ll be some fun things going on and we plan on having some RCB giveaways on hand for the folks who show up.   We hope that you’ll come out and celebrate with us. It’s such an honor to finally get our beer into your hands!

We are so pleased to partner with Shaker’s and The Red Dog Grill for this “historic” event.  We’re excited for you to enjoy our beer in Ottawa not only on the 12th and the 13th of June, but for a long time to come.

See you guys soon!

Illinois State Brewer’s License Approval

By | Beer | 2 Comments

It’s official!  We’ve been issued our brewer’s license from the State of Illinois.  This was the last piece of our regulatory puzzle, which means you’ll be able to order a pint of Radium City beer at select local pubs the first week of June.  I can’t properly articulate just how excited I was typing that last sentence.

It’s been one hell of a journey over the last year and a half or so.  From concept to execution, there have been countless hours spent, literal blood spilled (we’re not great at carpentry; just ask our construction guru Adam Wampler), hundreds of pounds of grain milled,  hundreds of records spun, and probably far too many pints imbibed making this dream of ours a reality.  We cannot wait for you to try our local craft beer, brewed right here in Starved Rock Country by four local guys who want to bring great locally sourced craft beer to their community.

We’ve had some discussions with local bars and we’ll be dropping news very soon about where you can go to get our beer and what styles of beer we’ll be launching. We’ve also got some upcoming and very exciting events in the works, so stay tuned

Cheers!
